All across the country and certainly throughout the world gay bars are to be found almost everywhere. In all large metropolitan areas or cites of over 100 thousand people you will find a healthy and vibrant Gay Community and at the core of that community is the gay bar. The gar bar has many facets and is therefore, the center for all kinds of activity from playing a game of pool, socializing with friends, or just looking to hookup, the gay bar offers the men and women of the gay life style a safe and pleasant haven to gather in.
I travel all over the United States and make a point of visiting the local gay bars when visiting various cities. As and artist and one that loves to dance my first choice of bars are the dance clubs, however, I do not limit myself to dance club alone, there are many fine and wonderful night clubs and lounges that have a lot to offer. When I go to these establishments I either set up a table and draw or walk around the bar and draw the live action in the bar from various angles of the room. It is my delight here to present here some of the drawings that I have done from my visits to gay bars and clubs on my travels. |
